JAVA DEVELOPER     
What you'll be doing:
In addition to computer system development, the services shall include design, analysis, enhancement, and maintenance of computer systems, coordination, user training and support, creation of templates and test data, program/system test including verification of its results, system documentation and program conversion and test, customization, edit, quality acceptance test, optimize performance of applications and providing technical guidance and coaching to other developers.
 
What you'll need to qualify for the job:

You must have job experience in programming thin and thick applications in Java using:

• Struts or equivalent MVC-2 architecture
• J2EE technologies (Web Services, JSP/Servlets/Tag Libraries, JDO, JNDI, JDBC, SWT)
• Tomcat, JBoss and/or SunOne/IPlanet server experience

You will need to be proficient in programming JavaScript, HTML, XHTML, DHTML, XML, XSLT, XSL-FO, Doclet, Ant, PHP.

You should have experience working with Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, ADABAS, Sybase or other RDBMS.

You should also be familiar with J2EE Design Patterns.

Being Java 2 certified would be a big advantage.

SYSTEMS ANALYST
What you’ll be doing:

• Perform systems design work to develop applications meeting the business requirements of users
• Prepare complex system specifications to meet user requirements
• Perform systems testing of multiple modules in a system
• Competent to handle a variety of programming assignments such as block diagramming, coding, testing debugging, documenting, and implementing information systems
• Successfully train users in the use of information systems tools
• Participate in formal and on-the-job training in systems analysis, programming and inter-personal skills provided

What you’ll need to qualify for the job:

• More than five (5) years’ experience in a senior system analyst role, two (2) of which should be working with senior users
• Extensive experience using Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) for professional documentation
• Experience with the use of Eclipse IDE, Struts framework, and Java programming language
• Experience using UML to document system design
• Familiarity with Oracle relational databases and multi-tiered application concepts
• Extensive knowledge of system development life cycle (SDLC) and utilization in system development projects

IT CONTROLS ANALYST

Responsibilities:

• Perform Walkthrough & Controls Testing and then update and enhance a specific system based on the results.
• Prepare the electronic and manual Attestation working papers in the company-prescribed format and provide possible detailed next steps to accomplish in order to obtain a favorable opinion in the Attestation.
• Conduct and write health check reports and recommendations for IT projects.
• Review and analyze project artifacts for compliance to the company's Project Management Framework and industry best practices.
• Conduct other related activities as assisting in copy editing, rewriting and proofreading of document contents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration/ Management, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering.
• Experience in IT General Controls audit with specialization on project management, application development, solutions delivery and systems implementation.
• Knowledgeable on the following:
• IT governance frameworks: COBIT & ITIL
• Project management frameworks: PMBOK & Prince2
• More than four (4) years’ experience in IT audit and IT project management
• CISA and/or PMP certifications are preferred.

IT Trainer

 

What you’ll be doing:

• Shall act as the Presenter / Trainer/ SME across for MS office 2010 (Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Access) applications and Windows 7, and will be to point of contact for training and knowledge transfer as required.
• Produce training materials and learning guides
• Takes lead in developing instructional materials such as presentation slides, and Quick Reference Guides to support training for staff
• Prepares and submits monthly activity reports which will include training topics, participant count, and combined participant evaluations among other information
• Posts training results and activities for the benefit of Resident Missions through online and other appropriate channels whenever appropriate

What you’ll need to qualify for the job:

• At least 5-7 years IT Training experience specifically with productivity tools
• With knowledge of MS Office Suite 2010 of products (specifically Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access) and Windows 7 to an advance level
• Knowledge of Lotus Notes is an advantage.
• Preferably Certified Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT)
• Strong presentation skills to encourage high level of interaction and participation in training sessions
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills
• Ability to adjust to dynamically changing demands and requests for engagement
• Ability to translate IT concepts and terminology into language that non-IT people can understand
